Minitube was founded in 1970 by Dr. Ludwig Simmet and is now in its third generation, standing for the values and strengths of a traditional family-owned company.

The headquarters is located in Tiefenbach (Landshut), Germany. The Minitube International network comprises ten companies and two additional Minitube partnerships. Through close cooperation with highly qualified sales partners and subsidiaries, Minitube is present in more than 100 countries around the globe.

We work closely with leading universities, research institutes, and breeding companies worldwide. One of our goals is to increase efficiency and animal welfare in animal husbandry through the use of technology and science. In this way, Minitube contributes to the sustainable production of healthy food.

Since the beginning of 2021, we have had a “Human Division” dedicated to human reproductive medicine. Specialized products and technologies from Minitube are used in fertility centers, making an important contribution to fertility treatments.

As a family-owned company with stable values and a consistent corporate culture, we have been committed to sustainability for generations and recognize our social responsibility, far beyond legal obligations.

Ecological sustainability is important to us: As early as 10 years ago, the first solar panels were installed on the roofs and facades of our buildings in Germany. Our subsidiaries follow suit – in Brazil, Mexico and Slovakia, electricity is also generated through their own facilities.

We value collaboration with local and regional suppliers: Short distances and reliable contacts can be found, for example, at nearby printing companies, local machine builders, or designers.

Minitube supports charitable and social institutions and projects, both regionally and internationally, through donations and charity initiatives – from sponsoring local youth soccer teams to contributions to international organizations that work for fair global food distribution or for children in need.
